Capture the beauty of towering granite peaks, glowing aspens, and sunset at Mono Lake. Dramatic weather, wonderful scenery, fantastic locations, and good friends make for a grand adventure. We have a fun-filled experience prepared packed with landscape and scenic photography. Each day provides a balance of creative opportunities, instruction, and plenty of time to explore.
The Eastern Sierra is a location of vast contrasts: towering granite peaks, rushing waters, and a desert valley of great historical importance and photographic interest. Witness the golden light of sunrise on the Minarets and the amber sunset on Mono Lake. Shoot the drama of the early snows whistling through Bodie. Capture the aspen glow as the fall colors explode in the Sierra canyons.
The Adventure begins with lunch on the first day and concludes after breakfast on the final day.
- Thursday- Lunch meeting and foliage shoot
- Friday – Fall Foliage Shoot and Bodie Ghost Town
- Saturday – Foliage Shoot & Mono Lake afternoon
- Sunday – Depart for home
Physical Expectations: Moderate. Must be able to walk 1 mile at altitude. Hiking boots required.
