Creative night photography after dark is a mystery to many. We’ve figured it out! Learn how to photograph the spellbinding, spherical movements of stars in the sky, how to change a scene by adding your own light, and how to build drama by integrating star trails and light painting. You’ll make pictures that are truly stellar!

Student Reviews:

My daughter and I signed up for the  Star Trails Adventure with both excitement and a little hesitation.  We were pushed outside of our comfort zone and  thrilled with what we learned and proud of the results.  Beautiful site and patient and fun instructors made it magical.   We are ready to sign up again this year and make it a family tradition!
-Darby T.

I signed up for the Star Trails Adventure not knowing anything about taking pictures of the night sky. It is a very different style of photography. One learns how to compose a shot that you cannot see with your own eyes, to focus on a star, to take multiple images and process them into a single picture with stunning star trails. We even got to practice light painting techniques. Sitting under the night sky in Death Valley is also an incredible experience. The Instructor was knowledgeable, helpful and made it an amazing adventure. I would not hesitate to take this trip again.

I’d like to go, but wonder if others are staying in a hotel or if everybody else will be camping?
