The Project: Concept to Presentation

Advanced Photography began at the Creative Photo Academy in 1991 with one terrified instructor and 12 students. Together we have traveled on a journey of light and lens and life and learning. This adventure of technical discovery and emotional revelation has led our eyes, opened our hearts and minds to places and ideas we have never thought possible. The artistic path was not for everyone and challenging for all… but many of us found an outlet for our photographic expression, fuel to light our creative spark and freedom for our imaginations. All are welcome to join us in the world of Creative Photography.

The Project: Concept to Presentation

Creating a photo project or personal portfolio is a worthy challenge for any photographer. You focus on your photographic technique, your story, your art while simultaneously building a collection of your best work. You will grow through personal coaching, artistic development, and by the end you will have honed your unique expression in a nurturing group environment. Completing a project is a challenge all photographers should accept. Many return year after year to hone their focus and continue their growth as a photographer and artist. Building your project offers you the opportunity to create lasting and timeless body of work.
