Editing photos effectively is a valuable skill. Editing your own photos is a unique challenge.
Which photos to include? Which photos are out? What order?
Earlier generations of photographers simply handed their pile of pictures over to an editor, publisher, magazine, or printer who would then select the images for publication and sequence them. Now, in the age of self-publishing and posting we photographers need to learn the skills of editing and sequencing for ourselves. In this two-session seminar LensWork editor, Brooks Jensen, will share the skills that have helped him edit and sequence over 400 publications for print and electronic distribution. The first session will focus on image selection for a variety of media. The second session will be about sequencing, layout, and text integration — title and captions, for example.
