Figure Workshops

Creative Photo Academy Figure Workshops offer photographers an opportunity to photograph  the human body in a safe and inclusive environment. Figure Photography allows you to make truly memorable images that will evoke emotions in any viewer. Learn to create unique images, control your subject and lights, while working with a model to build an effective pose. Throughout the class you will have our team to assist you and a professional model to photograph.

The female form has captured the eyes of artists for thousands of years.  Painters, sculptures and artists begin their education with life drawing to gain experience capturing the human form.  Photographers have recorded the shapes and lines of the female form since the first camera was invented.  Most find the figure photography experience extremely challenging and very rewarding.  When you master capturing the human body you will add depth to your portrait, landscape and travel photographs.  

After a Covid forced hiatus Figure Photography is back on the schedule at Creative Photo Academy.   We invite you to accept the challenge and join your CPA crew exploring the human figures.

Figure Salon

Join the Creative Photo Academy for Live In-Person Figure Salon. This curated experience will allow you to capture the beauty of the human form in an intimate and inclusive environment. Each session is limited to just 8 photographers to ensure ample photographic opportunities for all participants. Live models will be present for our salon sessions. Get studio experience studying the human form, and make amazing photos!
