Hiking to the highest peak in Africa is a thrilling and exhilarating experience. The route to the Roof of Africa is100% walkable, beautiful, colorful, stark and other-worldly. The vistas and scenery as we climb are truly breathtaking! We begin our trek in the forest and climb thru the sub-alpine flora to the beauty above the trees. Summiting Uhuru Peak and witnessing the sunrise on that ultimate day will be a life-changing event for many of us.

Simba Marara’s Mountain Team are all local Tanzanian’s who are expert high-altitude guides where your comfort and safety are paramount. Your gear is transported along the route in our moving camp. All you carry each day is your water, jacket, snacks and camera. Sauly will lead us to the top, while Emmanuel sets the camp and Godfrey cooks the meals we need to propel us to the Roof of Africa! You need to train but the exhilaration will be well worth the effort. Simba Marara has your back at every step of the way!

• Cost of the Kili Expedition includes Certified Mountain Guides, alpine safety session, porters, comfortable accommodations, amazing meals, and airport transfers.
• Gear rental, passports, visas, travel + medical insurance, tips, alcoholic beverages, laundry, optional excursions, some meals and international air not included.
• Participants must be in good physical condition. Able to walk 10 miles per day at altitude.
• Must arrive at Kilimanjaro Int’l Airport in Tanzania by 11pm on February 3
