Night Sky Photography Workshop: Bodie Ghost Town
Join us for a captivating night sky photography workshop in the historic Bodie Ghost Town, where the ancient meets the celestial. This immersive workshop is designed for photography enthusiasts, from beginners to advanced photographers, who want to master the art of capturing the Milky Way, creating stunning star trails, and mastering the art of low-level lighting.
Prep Class
Before the workshop, we will meet on zoom to go over testing camera settings, focusing in the dark, composition & framing, equipment, and more!
Star Trail
Discover the magic of creating mesmerizing star trail images. You will gain insight into long exposure techniques, stacking, and framing!
Milky Way
Learn how to plan and capture breathtaking Milky Way shots. We are here to help you learn and maximize your success!
Low Light
Understand the art of adding artificial light into your night shots. We’ll explore various lighting tools and techniques to illuminate your photos!
Post Production
After the shoot, we’ll guide you through the post-processing stage. Learn to enhance your night sky photos using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop!
Zoom Classroom
Experience the convenience of learning from home. Our live zoom session will cover editing workflows and provide a platform to share work & get feedback!

- Saturday 8/15 – Bodie Ghost Town, Second evening of Night Photography
