About Your Adventure
Come take photos of the night sky and light painting with long exposure expert, Katrina Brown. Take photos in this desolate and captivating environment that is the Salton Sea. Learn how to photograph star trails, points of light, light painting and even capture the decayed abodes that make this place special. A styled model will be provided one evening for the light painting portion. Arrive in the afternoon to set up and settle in. We’ll then go to work at dusk and shoot until the early hours. You can camp or drive to a nearby hotel- camping at Mecca Beach will be much more convenient and will allow your camera to stay out longer for trails. It will be lots of fun and we’ll make some spectacular images together.

Adventure Details
• During the Day: Scouting, post processing and maybe sleeping and at night: Star Trails & light painting!
• Includes: Location for photographing, “How-To Prep Class” and onsite instruction & post production class
• You will learn: What direction and why for star shooting. How to make a single star shot, trails and a time-lapse video all from one camera and one set of images.
• Does Not Include: transportation, meals, accommodations, possible entrance fees or model gratuity (this is a harsh shoot for models).
**Required** Knowledge of how to use your camera in manual and bulb model, how to manually change white balance, shutter and aperture.
To bring: Camera, camera manual, tripod, camping gear, lockable remote shutter release – full supply list to be e-mailed after registration
