This September, as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Paul’s Photo and the Creative Photo Academy invite you to join us for a special evening dedicated to the power of storytelling, creativity, and community: Una Noche de Cuentos (A Night of Stories). The event will take place on Friday, September 25, bringing together photographers, filmmakers, students, and creative professionals for an inspiring conversation about the experiences that shape artistic careers.
Stories are at the heart of every creative pursuit. Whether captured through a camera lens, expressed through filmmaking, or shared through personal experience, stories help us connect with one another, understand different perspectives, and imagine new possibilities. Una Noche de Cuentos was created to celebrate those connections while providing encouragement and inspiration to the next generation of storytellers.
Throughout the evening, guests will hear from four distinguished storytellers whose careers span photography, education, filmmaking, and visual media. Their journeys are unique, but each has experienced challenges, breakthroughs, and defining moments that helped shape their creative path.
Bringing together perspectives from photography, filmmaking, education, and visual media, Mario Congreve, David Lopez, Eduardo Carmona, and Matt Brown each offer a unique look at the creative journey. From mentoring emerging artists and building creative communities to capturing powerful visual stories, navigating today’s photography industry, and crafting compelling narratives for film and screen, these accomplished storytellers will share the pivotal experiences, challenges, and lessons that shaped their careers, inspiring attendees to pursue their own creative passions with confidence and purpose.
