Weston Figure Workshop

Join Kim Weston and Mark Comon for three days of photographing artistic nudes in scenic Carmel, CA.  Locations include Wildcat Hill, the famous Weston estate in Carmel and Cole Weston’s famous ranch.  Create amazing images using the stunning natural light that Kim and Edward made so famous. The Weston Figure Workshop is for most photographers the most challenging and most rewarding workshop they have ever attended.  Your creativity and technical ability will be stretched beyond your comfort zone.  The experience will yield photos beyond your imagination and immeasurable growth in your technical and artistic skills.

How it works:

Participants will work in groups of three photographers so collaboration is paramount and model time is maximized!  The Workshop team is there to offer suggestions and guidance.  You never feel lost or alone!  Our models are true professionals whose helpfulness and patience put first-timers at ease.   The models are also our Muses to inspire and stimulate our creativity. You will have time to shoot creatively, adjust your exposure and direct the light & pose.  Models and locations will be rotated hourly so you have the opportunity to photograph in a variety of environments.  Kim and Mark provide individualized instruction to help you learn and grow as a photographer. Each day we will review and critique your work to set you on the right track to great images.
